At 6am on June 18, 2008, after finalizing with participating Chinese university (thanks to the Beijing Olympics which wreaks havocs on a lot of things including the college students' summer-schedule), we are proud to announce that ChinaOpen will start on:

It is each individual's rights and choice to become part of, and do something good, something better, and collectively, we can and we WILL make something great, as a community, as a nation, and as a world.

Sitting in the CFUnited http://cfunited.com, and heard a very interesting and relevant news for ChinaOpen:

ColdFusion will be available, free, to students and faculty for academic use!

Oh, just some background about CFUnited.
1. It is one of the largest (if not the largest) developer-community self-organized event.
2. In fact, Adobe would announce major technical news at this event. For example, Flex 3.0 product was built on the eve of CFUnited and released to the attendees on the opening ceremony of CFUnited.
